5 Reasons Why I Love Versailles

So this one is more of a visual of why I love Versailles. It is an absolutely stunning palace to visit both inside and out. If you have an extra afternoon or even a day in Paris I would highly recommend heading out to Versailles. Also if you are going in the summer try to visit on a day when they have all the fountains and classical music playing throughout the gardens, which runs on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October. It really makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time. There is so much to see here and you can spend the entire day just idly walking through the gardens, visiting Petit Trianon (Marie Antoinette’s Private Home) and of course the palace itself. It is about a half hour train ride from Paris so it is definitely worth it. And without further ado here are my five visual reasons to visit Versailles.
1. Versailles itself
2. Petit Trianon
Petit Trianon was Marie Antoinette’s private home which her husband, Louis XVI, gave to her as an escape from Versailles, it is still located on the grounds of Versailles and is just a small walk from the palace
3. The Fountains
4. The Gardens
5. Marie Antoinette Herself
I absolutely love Marie Antoinette and her story absolutely fascinates me. If you love her as much as I do definitely head to Versailles to learn more!
beautiful pictures, thank you. Of my Versailles, used to lived there for almost 10 years! I can give you at least five more reasons and not just the palace lol!
Thanks! When I go back I would definitely love to explore more so I would love to hear your suggestions!
