A Glimpse of Portland’s Streets

by Alex and Ashley - August 21, 2014 - 17 comments

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Alex and I went to Portland in May as part of our grand Pacific Northwest Road Trip and we had an awesome time.  The city was simply amazing and I loved wandering the streets of the city.  We had just a short time to explore the city and we hit as many restaurants as we could.  We did not have a ton of time in the city but we also did not really have a plan at all.  We spent most of our time eating and drinking our way around.  I did end taking a lot of pictures of the streets and we also had a short stop at the Timbers’ stadium where our friend, Matt, works.

So here is just a little glimpse of the streets of Portland.

Have you been to Portland?  What were your favorite places?  We will be revealing where we ate and drank while in the city in the next week!

Awesome! It is a wonderful city, we had so much fun there and the food is amazing! Try Toro Bravo for some of the best tapas I have had

What a fun trip to travel the Pacific Northwest and explore Portland along the way. I hope you get a chance to go to Columbia River Gorge. Thanks for being part of the #WeekendWanderlust.

We were able to drive through a majority of it but unfortunately we did not have time to stop. Next time though!

Amazing pics! Portland is definitely on my list of places to visit for all of the vegan food, the cafes, and the random hipster-ish things there! I also LOVE to show Portlandia! I don’t know if I would plan too much either since it would be so fun just to walk around and take it all in. Thanks so much for linking up with #WeekendWanderlust this week and we hope to see you back again next week! 🙂

The best thing about Portland is how Portlandia it actually is! We had so much fun just walking around and discussing where our chicken for dinner came from 🙂

What a pretty city! I have yet to make it to the northwest, but Portland is definitely high on my list. If nothing else, for the bookstore. 🙂 Thanks for linking up with #WeekendWanderlust!

I was also there this past spring, for my first time and also enjoyed it. I stayed at Ace Hotel, it was great! I also loved Washington Park and all it has to offer from the Japanese Gardens to the awesome Oregon Zoo!

I would have loved to stay at the Ace! It looked amazing but my friends live there so obviously we stayed with them. We only had two days there but I definitely want to return and explore more we didn’t make it to any parks

Nice pics. Great city, isn’t it? And too easy not to see it by spending an entire day in terrific Powell’s!
