When you can’t travel or you are saving up for a big trip there are several things you can do to keep the wanderlust alive (like we need anything to keep our wanderlust alive).  One of our favorite things to do is view videos people have made during their travels (and watch movies about travel).  So to save you hours of time looking for these awesome videos we have compiled a list of our favorites.

Barcelona Province

Spain is a country that I have spent far too little time in and this video just makes me want to spend as much time as needed to explore this country and their cultures, especially Barcelona which has its own culture. Sailing also, has always sparked my interest and I think one of our goals on our trip is to try and work on a sail boat for a free ride.

Une Nuit Parisienne

I lived in Rome for four years but my favorite city of all time would have to be Paris. I love Paris, the food, the architecture, the people; Paris has an elegance that I don’t think any other city can capture. It is called the city of lights for a reason, so next time you are in Paris just walk around and enjoy the beauty.

Travel

Tropical beaches, sailing, and amazing wildlife. Yes , Please! Ash and I have been calling our trip around the world our “Perma Weekend!” I grew up on a beach and around the water, there is nothing that makes me feel more like I’m at home than the ocean. Sometimes city travel can put too much stress on the body and an island getaway is exactly what the mind needs.

Watch Tower of Turkey

Now this might be one of the most intense videos I have watched but I loved how they captured Turkey.  I have only been to Istanbul once and I fell in love with it instantly. I could have spent much longer there exploring the alleyways of this city. This film provoked emotion and that is what I hope to be able to do with my future films.

Paris in Motion(Part 4)

Did I forget to mention how much I love Paris? Well if I did, let me say it one more time. I love Paris! I love this video and love his style. I plan on doing a lot filming on our trip and what he does with the timelapse is pretty cool.

15 places to experience in Asia with Finnair

Asia has always been an area in the world that has grasped my curiosity. The culture is so different from any of the other cultures I have seen. I have been to Southeast Asia but felt like I was not able to truly understand it. I left wanting to go back and explore more. I know I’ll be back soon. My number one destination in Asia is Japan. It has been a culture that has intrigued me for a long time. I don’t know what it is about the continent of Asia but I am driven to go and figure out its mysteries.

Pure Peru

After watching this video, I was like why the hell am I not in Peru? For us, South America is quite far in our travel plans. It will be the last place we explore on our trip around the world but I want to be there now. All this video makes me want to do is leave for our trip now. This video truly inspires me to go and explore and live life to the fullest.

Travel is

Travel is what will save this world. Travel is life. Travel is what will break down the barriers of hate and bring understanding and love. That is why we travel. I believe we can help bring peace to this world through travel and that is something I really, down to my heart, believe. We are storytellers and let us tell the stories of this beautiful world.
